Sister Connection, a ministry serving widows and orphans, was begun by an American woman who grew up in Burundi and a Burundian sister.  The two women feel called to serve widows and children left in the wake of a decade long civil war that killed many Burundian men.  We developed a master plan for the hilly 20-acre campus, designed most of the buildings for the campus, developed water supply and wastewater strategies, electrical demand strategies and agricultural recommendations.  You can read more in the blog, “Healing the Burundian Genocide” dated 20 Mar 2011.
